EL CAJON, Calif. – The San Diego Christian College Hawks fell to the Arizona Christian University Firestorm Thursday evening by a score of 60-81.
The Hawks led most of the first quarter, but a trio of consecutive three-pointers in the final minute of the period allowed the Firestorm to grab the lead. They would continue to build on that lead over the remainder of the game, never letting SDCC back in.
Senior, Jamee Joseph posted a double-double for San Diego Christian, scoring 12 while pulling in 13 rebounds. Junior Mamaeia Makoni led the Hawks in scoring 13 and Cynnadie Whatley was also in double-digits with 10.
