PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The San Diego Christian College men's soccer team hung with but ultimately fell to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles 0-3 in Saturday's GSAC/CalPac clash.
After ERAU scored an early goal in the 14th minute, the Hawks settled in and were able to play competitively with the nationally recognized Eagles. The Hawks would give as well as they got over the next 58 minutes of gameplay until ERAU netted a goal in the 72nd minute.
Embry-Riddle would score a late third goal once SDCC had shifted to an attack mode.
Robert Webb would lead the Hawk offensive attack with two shots, while SDCC netminder, Mark Cardenas turned away 8 ERAU shots.
