PASADENA, Calif. – A hard-fought, evenly matched battle between the San Diego Christian College men's soccer team and the California Technical Institute Beavers was ultimately won by Caltech by a score of 3-0 Friday.
After a nil-nil halftime score, the teams were seemingly headed to a draw. Caltech opened the scoring, however, with a goal in the 61st minute. The goal initiated a full offensive press by SDCC in the waning minutes of the match, allowing the Beavers to capitalize twice more to make the winning margin larger than it should have been.
