Pioneers Get The Best of Hawks on Eve of Thanksgiving

LANCASTER, Calif. – The San Diego Christian College Hawks suffered a 68-76 loss at the University of Antelope Valley Pioneers on the eve of Thanksgiving.

Although the scoreline did not favor the Hawks, several strides were made for individual players. Senior Keren Hogue busted through with a 24-point explosion to lead all scorers. Additionally, Hogue contributed 4 assists while going 10-12 from the free-throw line. She made her mark defensively, pulling in 8 rebounds and making 2 steals.

Senior guard, Cynnadie Whatley put in 16 points of her own, had 2 assists, and led SDCC in rebounding with 9 boards.

The Hawks are off until Thursday, December 1, when they travel to OUAZ to take on the Spirit in a GSAC matchup.
