Hawks Fall to LPU on Senior Day

LA MESA, Calif. – The San Diego Christian College women's volleyball team concluded their 2022 season with a 0-3 loss to the visiting Life Pacific University Warriors on Saturday.

SDCC started the match strong taking a 13-9 lead in the early going on kills by Teresa Ochoa, Jaelah Curtis, Megan Flores, and Cydney Bolasky. A nine-point run by LPU would flip the script, however, and send the Warriors on to a set 1 victory.

The second and third sets would mirror the first with the Hawks taking early 8-7 and 5-2 leads. Life Pacific scoring runs of six-straight points and eight-straight points would give the Warriors leads that they would not relinquish.

The Hawks finish the season with an overall record of 2-21 and a GSAC conference record of 1-17.

Senior Day

San Diego Christian College celebrated the careers of six senior volleyball players, Maxine Tennant, Anuhea Kaohi, Megan Flores, Chanelle Frazier, Ashlyn Arnold, and Josilyn Remick. This group of young women will be missed by the SDCC volleyball program not only for their playing abilities but also for their outstanding leadership skills. Enjoy each senior's video below.

The Hawks volleyball program would like to thank Rob Gaut at fivestorypictures.com for putting together the senior videos.
